After surviving cancer twice and being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune disease, our founder Karen Hertz was no longer able to have gluten – which meant a beer with friends was out of the question. She tried, and was disappointed by, all the gluten-free beers available on the market. She decided there had to a better way, and after years of research and testing, Holidaily was born.
At Holidaily all of our beers are brewed with millet and buckwheat and we’re the only dedicated, certified gluten-free brewery in Colorado. Our grains are malted at Grouse Malt House which is also a dedicated, certified gluten-free facility. What does this mean for the consumer? Whether you just have a gluten intolerance or you’re celiac, our beer is 100% safe for you to enjoy.
It’s not only great beer for the gluten-free community, though. Many of our guests in the taproom don’t even realize it’s gluten-free until they hear another guest or staff member talking about it. Since we’re using real grain the resulting product tastes exactly as it should – like great beer! With our grains we are able to create brews that range from our light and crisp Favorite Blonde, to our delightfully full-bodied Imperial Stout, to our Double IPA which is so smooth you’d never guess it’s 10%. You can find our beer in cans at over 150 stores and restaurants in Colorado and we pour a full range of 10 beers in our taproom in beautiful Golden, CO.
