Kayla KelleyUofA Student Ambassador

Kayla is an Arizona native with adventure in her blood! She grew up hiking and camping all over Phoenix and northern Arizona before moving to Tucson to pursue a degree in Wildlife Conservation and Management at the University of Arizona! Go Wildcats!! She is currently completing an internship at the Reid Park Zoo and finishing her last year of school. On the weekends, when not in the library studying, you can find Kayla leading the UofA Ramblers hiking club on group adventures around Tucson.

While hiking, camping, and long-boarding are her passions, Kayla plans to get her toes wet in the sports of rock climbing/rappelling, kayaking/rafting, SUP boarding, and backpacking this year!! And let’s not forget about her super pup Nikki, a 4 year old Vizsla mix, who’s passions are hiking and extreme lizard chasing. Nikki is working on some goals of her own this year: 1) catch an actual lizard, & 2) work up to carrying all of her own water and food for a weekend adventure. Nikki and Kayla are way excited for the Outdoor Adventure Quest and plan to complete the 52 hike challenge to keep the adventures rolling year round!
