Brian grew up in upstate New York, but found a true home in the mountains of Colorado in 2005. As a middle school teacher, he spent weekends and school breaks exploring the Rocky Mountain Region, from backpacking to wilderness lakes and climbing 14ers to winter yurt expeditions and river trips down the Colorado. He also developed a love for international travel by backpacking through Southeast Asia, hiking the Inca Trail, riding buses through Central America, navigating the chaotic streets of India, and trekking the Himalaya in Nepal.

Through it all has been a never ending quest to document the beauty of the world, which nurtured his love for photography and filmmaking. Brian has recently embarked on a second career as a freelance filmmaker shooting travel videos for Matador Network and has also been featured on Yahoo! Tavel, and The Outbound Collective.
Finally, Brian and his wife Pam recently embarked on their greatest adventure – parenthood, when their daughter, Kaiya was born in 2016. They are determined to continue their adventurous lifestyle and raise their daughter to explore and appreciate the wild corners of the world.
